Everything you need to get Odin's Eye running and use both overlays. One app, two views — switch anytime. The steps are the same for the Eden and Blackthorn editions.

Getting started

1. Create your account — at gameoverlay.net pick a username and password (no email needed), then start a 3-hour free trial or subscribe ($20/30 days).
2. Download & unblock — from your account, download OdinsEye-Eden.zip (or OdinsEye-Blackthorn.zip for the Blackthorn edition). Right-click it → Properties → tick Unblock → OK, then extract to a folder. (Windows flags any new unsigned app; unblocking clears it — nothing malicious.)
3. Run as administrator — launch Application.exe as admin. It needs admin rights to read the game; it only ever reads, never writes.
4. Start the game first — launch Dark Age of Camelot on Eden (or Blackthorn) and log all the way into your character before starting Odin's Eye, so it can find you.
5. Sign in — sign in with your gameoverlay.net username and password (plus your 2FA code if you’ve enabled it). Sign-in works only while your licence is active; if it’s lapsed the app links you straight to renew. It stays activated on that PC afterwards.
6. Pick an overlay — choose Simple Eye or Overwatch at launch. Switch anytime in Settings (Insert) → General.

Simple Eye — the dial

A compact circular dial. You sit fixed at the centre and always point up; the world rotates around you as you turn. Players and mobs appear as dots, coloured by realm, at their real range and bearing.

Simple Eye default hotkeys

In Settings: size the dial and dots, set up to six range rings with per-ring colours, choose which realms show, toggle the target line and its colour, and rebind any key on the Keys tab. All hotkeys are rebindable.

Overwatch — the zone map

A transparent, full-zone map with you at the centre and everyone else placed on the real terrain. Great for keep/relic movement and reading the field at a glance. You can rotate the map with your heading or keep it north-up, and hide the map image to show just the dots.

Zone maps download automatically the first time you enter a zone and are cached on your PC for next time — you’ll briefly see “Downloading map for this zone” while it fetches. Zones without a map yet still work as a radar; the map simply appears once it’s added.

Overwatch default hotkeys

Two actions ship unbound — set your own keys for them on Settings → Keys.

Common controls & realm colours

• Switch overlay anytime, two ways: press the switch-overlay hotkey (default F5) to toggle instantly between Simple Eye and Overwatch in-game, or open Insert → General tab. Each overlay reopens on its own last-used profile.
• Switch-overlay hotkey is shared: rebind it under Settings (Insert) → General → Switch-overlay hotkey. It's the same key in both overlays, so changing it in one changes it in the other.
• Move to a new PC: sign into your account → Move to new PC (frees your hardware lock; max 3/month, 48h apart).
• Renew: each PayPal payment adds 30 days (they stack). There is no auto-charge — when your time runs low, pay again from your account to extend; if it lapses, access ends until you pay again.
• Updates are automatic — Odin's Eye fetches new builds on launch, no reinstall.

Account, login & billing

Do I need an email to sign up?

No — an email is optional. Your account is just a username and password you choose; add an email only if you want self-service recovery, or skip it entirely. It’s the same login for the website and the app, and it works across every GameOverlay app you own.

How do I sign in to the app?

Launch Odin’s Eye and enter your gameoverlay.net username and password. You can only sign in while you have an active licence — if it’s lapsed, the app shows a link to renew or subscribe. Once you’re in, it stays activated on that PC and re-checks quietly on each launch.

Two-factor security (2FA)

Add an authenticator app under Security in your account. It’s optional for your first 3 days, then required — after that, signing in asks for a 6-digit code. When you turn it on we show 8 one-time recovery codes; save them somewhere safe.

I lost my authenticator

Use one of your recovery codes in place of the 6-digit code to sign in — on the website or in the app. Then go to Security, turn 2FA off (a recovery code works there too) and re-enable it with your new device. Out of recovery codes too? Email us and we’ll reset it.

I forgot my password

Two ways to reset it yourself. If you added a recovery email, use Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen and we’ll email you a reset link. Or if you have two-factor enabled, enter your username, an authenticator (or recovery) code and a new password — you’re signed straight in. With neither on file, an admin has to reset it — a good reason to add an email or turn on 2FA.

Changing your username

Rename your account under Username → Change on your account page. You keep the same member ID (the #number beside your name), so your licence, purchase history and community posts all stay linked and you’re not signed out. You can change once every 30 days; a name you leave is held for 6 months before anyone — including you — can take it, and your previous names are listed on your account.

Renewing & payment

Access is $20 per 30 days, paid through PayPal — a one-time payment each time, with no auto-charge. Every payment appears in your Purchase history, and you can open a printable receipt for any of them.

Gift & prepaid codes

Got a code? Enter it under Redeem a code in your account to add time instantly — it’ll create a licence for you if you don’t have one yet.

Moving to a new PC

Your licence runs on one PC at a time. In your account use Move to a new PC to release the lock, then sign in on the new machine. Limits to stop sharing: up to 3 moves per 30 days, at least 48 hours apart.

The Community & who can access it

Every member gets our Community — realm & class build guides for Eden (Albion, Midgard, Hibernia), discussion, and help. Trial members get full access for the length of their trial; when a trial ends you keep read access to the Trial Members area until you subscribe. Add a profile avatar under your account and your posts show your name, member number and post count.

Staying signed in

Tick Keep me signed in at login and your session lasts about 90 days on that device; leave it off and it’s a single day. You can Sign out everywhere from your account at any time (handy after using a shared PC), and changing your password signs out every other device automatically.

Your data & privacy

We hold only your username, an optional recovery email, your licence and payment history. Export all of it or delete your account any time from the Your data card in your account. See the transparency & safety page for how the overlay stays read-only and injection-free.

Troubleshooting

“Windows protected your PC” on first launch

Normal for a new unsigned app. Right-click OdinsEye-Eden.zip → Properties → tick Unblock → OK before extracting. Already extracted? Right-click Application.exe → Properties → Unblock, or on the warning click More info → Run anyway.

“Could not attach to the game”

• Launch Eden and log fully into your character first, then start Odin's Eye.
• Run Application.exe as administrator (right-click → Run as administrator).
• If you just zoned or teleported, give it a second — it re-finds you automatically.

“No licence on this account” when signing in

Your trial or subscription has lapsed, or you haven’t bought yet. Renew or subscribe from your account — it reactivates immediately, then sign in again in the app.

The overlay is in the wrong place / I can't move it

Press F9 to unlock, drag it, then F9 to lock again. If it sits behind the game, run the game in borderless / windowed mode.
